In the opening match of Matchday 10 of the 2025/26 Armenian Premier League season, Alashkert claimed an away victory over Shirak Gyumri with a 2–1 scoreline.
Vahé Gevorgyan’s men started the game in high gear and opened the scoring as early as the 2nd minute thanks to a precise strike from Momo Touré. Twenty minutes later, Caio Henrique doubled the visitors’ advantage, finishing off an impressive attacking move by the Yerevan side.
Shirak managed to pull one back in the second half — in the 63rd minute, Rafik Minasyan converted a penalty — but the hosts couldn’t find an equalizer. A minute before regular time expired, Gyumri midfielder Donald Kodia was shown a straight red card for a rough foul, leaving his team down to ten men.
With this victory, Alashkert have reached 22 points and confidently maintain their lead at the top of the Fastex Premier League table. Shirak, with six points, sit in eighth place.
