Alashkert Football Club will travel to Turkey for a training camp. The team will work in Antalya from January 17 to February 14.
As part of preparations for the resumption of the season, Alashkert will play a number of friendly matches. Information about opponents and match dates will be announced later.
It should be noted that holding training camps in Turkey is a relatively rare decision for Armenian clubs, despite the fact that this destination is traditionally popular among teams from other countries. Nevertheless, Alashkert, despite the political context and dissatisfaction among some fans, has decided to conduct preparations specifically in Antalya.
Earlier it was reported that other Armenian Premier League clubs — Urartu, Pyunik, and Noah — will hold their winter training camps in the UAE.
After 15 rounds of the Armenian championship, Alashkert is in 4th place with 29 points and continues to fight for the title as well as qualification for European competitions.
