4 Armenian Boxers to Compete at the Strandja Cup 2026 Today

On February 25, during the third competition day of the international boxing tournament “Strandja Cup 2026” in Sofia, four representatives of Armenia — two women and two men — will step into the ring.

In the daytime session, which begins at 14:00 local time (16:00 Yerevan time), Anush Grigoryan and Artur Bazeyan will hold their bouts.

In the evening session, scheduled to start at 18:00 (20:00 Yerevan time), Elida Kocharyan and David Chaloyan will compete.

For Artur Bazeyan, today’s bout will be his second of the tournament, while the other Armenian boxers are just beginning their campaigns at this prestigious competition.

Third competition day matchups featuring Armenian athletes:

51 kg: Anush Grigoryan — Michelle Vescovini (Italy)
60 kg: Artur Bazeyan — Salim Ellis-Bey (USA)
65 kg: Elida Kocharyan — Grainne Walsh (Ireland)
+90 kg: David Chaloyan — Nikita Putilov (Germany)
